How It All Began:

“Did you just wake up one day and decide to start a candle business?”

...well yes. That’s actually exactly how it happened. Except, that this crazy idea occurred to me in the middle of a day at work. For whatever reason, I got an idea that it would be fun to try and make my own candles, sort of a fun arts and crafts adventure. Soon after I told my coworker this, she asked if I would ever make them to sell and start another business. I laughed it off, but soon enough, I started having other coworkers and friends ask me the same thing! Six months later and Beneath The Pines Candle Co. became a reality. This journey has been more than I ever thought it would be. There have been late nights and long afternoons spent doing trial and error to make sure each candle is perfect in every way. 

Each scent I’ve selected for my line is rooted back to nature. I looked for scents that felt crisp, clean, warm, and fresh, that took be back to a single memory, a certain season, or just simply walking outside. 

Here's a little about myself as well:

My name is Kristi, owner of Beneath The Pines Candle Co. I live in Slinger, Wisconsin with my husband, our son Weston, and our Springer Spaniel Drake. My primary profession is as a Mammography Technologist and I also own my photography business, Kristi Jean Photography. Thank you so much for visiting my store.
